Cindy’s Favorite In-Store Selections!
With our Surprise Summer Sale happening, we tapped one of our stellar interior designers on staff to highlight her favorites! Taking into account the lines, shapes and textures of each fabric, here are Cindy Jett’s top 10 in-store fabrics (all on sale 20-30% off!)
1 – Yellow Geometric
Cindy loves the shapes on this fabric with some straight and some curved. It’s difficult to find a blend! The raised texture makes it even more interesting, and the lemon yellow and off-white color combo has just the right amount of contrast. Perfect for the summer!
2 – White Geometric
There is something special to Cindy about this off-white linen fabric with a raised silvery grey embroidery. It’s very geometric with a lot of right angles. This fabric would go really well in a modern or transitional style home.
3 – Animal
This is one of Cindy’s all-time favorites as she is a fan of animal prints! This particular fabric is one of the softest textures ever. Cindy suggests putting this on an antique to modernize it and give it some jazz. This fabric simply looks great and feels great!
4 – Floral
This is Cindy’s favorite floral in the store. It’s very breezy and has a romantic feel. Cindy suggests using the light grey background and repeating it on the walls of a bedroom. Then, pick up the beautiful aqua green and yellow in the room accessories. This particular fabric would work well on shams or a bed scarf.
5 – Sheer
Cindy’s favorite sheer fabric has a very organic feel to it with natural colors and leaf pattern. It’s very botanical! This sheer fabric would make gorgeous window treatments.
6 – Stripe
Cindy loves this cotton fabric as it has a nice, wide awning style stripe with great neutral, off-white and muddy grey tones. The raised texture in between the stripes adds dimension. This would be incredible as a roman shade to show off the pattern and stripe perfectly.
7 – Velvet
The texture on this velvet striped fabric is incredible. The colors are salmon, cream and taupe so Cindy recommends definitely using these as color accents in the accessories to finish off the room. This velvet fabric works well on upholstery or as a bed scarf.
8 – Linen
Linens are popular and this print is just right with its beautiful color combo – off-white background, fuchsia pink, asian style flowers, smokey teals and grays – and pagoda in the print. It’s so very zen-like to Cindy and would be gorgeous in a bedroom on shams or as a bed scarf.
9 – Botanical
It’s up to your interpretation, but this botanical or animal print has a raised salmon color texture. It’s feminine and flows, so it’s perfect for an upholstered chair with a curvy shape to enhance the curves.
10 – Outdoor
Don’t forget your outdoor fabrics! Cindy loves this Sunbrella fabric with a classic trellis design, which makes it a little Asian in nature. It has a gorgeous color combination with spa minty green and off-white. It’s restful and classic, so it would work really well on outdoor cushions.
